why so long to port old number? / , CA   12/18/2008
I've had this phone for about ten days. I charged it right away, but when I called to activate, I was told that my minutes from my old phone service (Boost) could not be transfered so I decided to wait until I used all my minutes. I wish that the customer service agent had told me then that the phone number switch would take up to 10 days because I would have started the process sooner and risked losing some minutes. Now I am without a phone until.....? Wished I had read the reviews first.

Ordered this phone on a Friday and recieved it on the following Wednesday. It only took overnight to port my old cell number. I absolutely love this phone. Great Job HSN!!!!

What a relief it is to get this easy to use pre-paid phone! I finally got out of a nightmare 2 year contract, that gave terrible service. It was so fuzzy with poor reception that I rarely used it, surrendering over 4,000 minutes just to get rid of it. The first call I made on this Pre-paid phone was so clear that it sounded like the other person was in the next room. I hope this phone continues to be great, because I just love it. Even better, is no monthly bill, ever!

Good phone, great deal, just what I wanted    12/14/2008
I received the phone very quickly. I was able to activate on-line in a few minutes. I only want an occasional phone and this fits the bill. My son was impressed with the quality of the phone and all the included accessories. I had no problems what so ever and love this phone. I felt confident in purchasing the phone beause it was an HSN special value. I was not disappointed.

Was surprised when I got the phone. Wasn't expecting the bright, colorful screen and pad. Like the minutes and service period right on the screen. Received a new SIM card 5 days after calling Net10 to port my number from another carrier. So far so good. Hope it holds up considering the low price.

Entremely Bad Service    12/12/2008
The wait for my cell phone service has been rediculous and tedious. NET 10 have been giving me many excuses and have made me wait for more than 7 days. The operators from Net 10 have told me that they can't do anything and that I have to wait around 48 hours more. The service you have been advertising on HSN network is not as simple as you say.

Not sure what to rate, it is a Christmas gift    12/11/2008
for my mom. I always worry when she's out that she will need a phone to call my Dad or one of us kids. Then I read all the terrible reviews and now I am worried! I would hate to give her something that may not work. I also bought an extra 300 mins for her. I am glad they give you til 1/31 to return just in case there are any problems. I sure hope not though! It looks like a nice phone from the looks. Fingers crossed!

Net 10 Problems / , MI   12/11/2008
Believed switching to Net 10 would be a bargain. Phone itself is OK, trying to transfer my Alltel number was terrible. Tried 3 times to activate my phone and Net 10 couldn't do it; said there was a problem with the SIM card, would send another. They never did. Since getting the phone have heard of other Net 10 problems. HSN should switch their next cell phone deal to Alltel or AT&T.

Switched from Tracfone to Net 10 / , AZ   12/9/2008
I've had 3 different Tracfones over the years before I bought this on special. I was very pleased with the set-up and how quickly I had the phone charged with the minutes and a phone number. The headphones, case, 2 chargers and 300 minutes with the phone sold me. I wanted a camera phone/flip phone and this is just what I was looking for. I use my phone very little and want NO contracts, ever. This is a great deal even at $10 more for regular price!

Taking Too Long To Port Phone Nunber / , NJ   12/9/2008
I've received my phone on Friday and I'm trying to get my sprint phone number ported to Net10. I was told that it can take up to ten business days to do this request. Net10 needs to speed the porting process. I had my phone number ported before and that transaction was done on the same day with no problems, so I don't understand why there is such a long waiting time. As of right now I have no use for the phone until my current number from Sprint gets transfer.
