TOTALLY FABULOUS FRAGRANCES / , TN   12/18/2008
LADIES,YOU MUST TRY THESE FRAGRANCES! I'M FIRST TIME USER AND LOVE THEM BOTH!! PHEROMONE IS SULTRY,SENSUAL AND TOTALLY MYSTERIOUS. DESTINY IS FEMININE AND VERY SOFT. ONCE YOU SPRAY PHEROMONE LET BOND WITH YOUR BODY CHEMISTRY AND IT WILL MELLOW OUT. FRAGRANCE BOTTLES ARE BEAUTIFUL! THANKS MARILYN FOR SUCH EXQUISIT PRODUCTS!!! THESE ARE BETTER THAN WHAT I HAVE PURCHASED IN HIGH END DEPT STORE.

I so wanted to like this. Just received it yesterday and OMG this stuff is terrible. The lady who said its that old grandma smell is SO right. YUCK I am a grandma & wouldn't wear this stuff. It smells so cheap and really nasty. I tried it and my husband said please shower this stuff off! I had to really scrub to get rid of the smell and actually took 2 showers to get rid of it. As far as being one of the most expensive perfumes in the world..what a joke on the buyers.this is going back ASAP!

At first opening of Pheromone, HATED it. But decided to try it and wear for a few days to see how it smells on me, not just in the bottle. After about half an hour, I like the fragrance, and I like that it lingers. It doesn't live up to the hype on me, but I'm not as disappointed as some ladies. Still not sure I'll be keeping it. I checked retail prices on Marilyn's website, and sure enough, this is a great price for the set, but bottom line, you have to like the scent enough to buy it.

The Decanter's are very nice...but both Fragrances (Pheromone and Destiny) do not smell that well to me. "Pheromone" is extremely over-powering...and the other Reviewer's are correct...it does smell like "Great Grandma" Perfume. Sorry, but it's the truth. I'll say one thing Marilyn is a good Sales Woman, though. Marilyn, please go back to the "Drawing Board" and come up with some delicate lovely scents that will sell for sure...because this isn't cutting it...Sorry.

Wish we had smell-a-vision / , AZ   12/17/2008
This was my first (and probably my last) Marilyn purchase. It smells just like a grandma fragrance. I'm 30 years old, and this fragrance is not suitable for me. It's too strong and too musky. I only sprayed the EDP, and have a headache! I usually wear Amazing Grace or Snow Drop and this is unbelievably unbearable. It will be going back!!!

I love this fragrance and lately it is very hard to find. I thought this was a very good deal for both the perfume & Eau de parfum. Keep up the great work Marilyn.

After hearing all the hype about this fragrance, I decided to try it. All I can say is yuck! The Pheromone smells like Chanel #5 or Chantilly that's gone bad. The Destiny is better and I would probably wear it, but for the price of this set, I'm sending it back. Sorry Marilyn.

Phermone bottle looked rather empty ? Customer return sent my way?...I am retrning this can not pay full amount for a used product....disappointed like Destiny much more than Phermone though.... HSN QC? hope I dont have to pay for the return shipping ....its not my fault....

Love Destiny... Pheromone... YUCK!!!!    12/17/2008
I received this yesterday and I love the fragrance destiny. But... Pheromone reminds me of a fragrance my Grandmother of yester years wore. YUK!!! Now I am 56 years young and I do have a sense of humor but this fragrance I just can't beleive there are men out there that go wild over. Maybe 80 something??? I won't this send back but I am going to toss the pheromone. The keepsake bottles are exactly the same as the lady below me said. I'll fill it with Allure parfume.

I am 39. My sister is 37. My mom is 61. We all HATED the Pheromone perfume! It even gave my sister a headache. It was advertised as a "man magnet". Well, that's not true either. My husband said I smelled like a little old blue-haired lady. Not the responce I was looking for! HOWEVER, the Destiny smelled really nice. We ALL liked that one.I thought about keeping the Destiny for me, and giving the Pheromone away. But, I don't dislike anyone that much. Sorry, but back in the box it goes.
