This is my 3rd. I like to auto shut off feature it keeps me from destroying the unit when it runs out of water. My girls are allergic to ironing much like housework & this works gr8 for them, it's quick & convient. It gets the wrinkles out of ALL their clothes w/no worries of scorching or having to turn them inside out. We travel with it. It works just as good as my large steamer just portable. I have no problems with any of mine. Thanx Joy

Does Not Work / , NY   8/7/2008
I recently bought veritcal blinds with a sheer covering. I thought this product would get out the wrinkles in the sheers. Wrong, after going over the drapes twice, the only thing I accomplished was getting burned, spilling hot boiling water and actually melting some of the vertical blinds. The wrinkles still remain!! Thank God I'm still withing my 30 days and can return this product.

Love your hangers BUT this...UGH!!! / , RI   8/7/2008
It heats up really fast but did not remove the wrinkles as shown on TV. It was easier to just iron. If you don't hold it straight up it leaks and spits water all over the place. And it burns skin real easy. Great idea but poorly executed. But I sure love those hangers. Had bought Joy's luggage some time back...again I sure love those hangers and closet organizers.. Joy has some great ideas but maybe they get lost in the translation. The hangers are great!!

maybe some just spit (mine hurls) more than others, and YES, even in an upright position, and NO, I didn't fill it to much. This needs lottttttttts of improvement.........back to the post office to pay for more return shipping fees, good grief, maybe I'll learn someday.

TRASH - read the reviews - I should have / , TX   8/3/2008
This might work if you had 2 people to use it - one to hold & pull & 1 to steam! Worked ok on tshirts but took forever plus if you pull a crease, the crease is steamed in so you have to do again. Then tried on cotton shirt - forget it! More new wrinkles than ironed. Didn't think too heavy until I finished, then I could feel it in my bicep for an hour. I could have ironed the 4 tshirts in 1/4 time and the shirt would have taken hours. TRASH, TRASH, TRASH.

It DOES Work!    8/3/2008
I just used this today on several tee shirts and pants, it DOES work, and it works very well. You DO have to keep the steamer straight, so it takes a little practice to get the coordination right, but once you've mastered that it's such a convenient item to use. For under $30 I thought the price was right too.

Burned and Wet!!!! / , IN   8/1/2008
Joy oh Joy, you got me again. I was so excited about this product. I wanted to finally have a way to get the wrinkles out of the all-in-one sheet dust ruffle;another bad purchase!!.I got burned on my hand from the the water that spits out of the steamer, and my bed got soaked from the huge blast of water that sprayed out. I should have known about the water spitting out, because I saw it happen while you were using it on tv. The steamer is on it's way back.

Do you have this steamer made in China and not the good 'ole USA? Maybe that's why it has such poor performance and that minor detail isn't mentioned in the specs.

MORE THAN JUST A CLOTHES STEAMER! / , CA   7/27/2008
I love my little steamer, I use it in different ways. I clean my mirrors and shower glass with it's steam and just wipe it after. Sparkling clean! Another is for my home sauna. I sit on a small chair, under a Queen size sheet while the steamer is going (must be placed under chair away from any part of body) and it takes only approx 10-15 mins, and I have every part of my body including my face detoxifying. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! I save tons of money! Please tell Joy...

I bought this steamer because of the HSN presentation. Boy, I was very disappointed. It is nowhere as simple to use as shown. Clothes need to be hung flat against a wall or door. You need to pull clothes to try to get them smooth. The worst part is that if you do not hold the steamer straight the very hot water will spill - possible burning someone. I am sorry i bought this. Too late to return.....oh well.........
