Way to Heavy / , CA   4/8/2008
To heavy and it took way to much time to steam one of my husbands shirts and by the time I was done my arm was killing me. I could have ironed it in half the time it took me to steam it. It also spits and Joy said it wouldn't. Just did not like it. This one is going back.

Great product! / , NY   4/8/2008
I just received this and tried it on my slinky two-piece cotton sweater set. I realize this is not a power steamer, but it worked extremely well on my sweater set and I expect it will work just as well on my other tops. It is bit heavy and the retractable cord is not very smooth, however, I still feel it is a great product and will definitely keep it.

Little Steamer    4/8/2008
I have both of them, with and without the retractible cord. It's good for a small amount of clothes. I of course would not give up my ironing totally. However, it is good for travel. I too seen the demonstration one of the viewers seen when the water spurted on the blouse. The camera moved in another direction. What you could have said is that 'sometimes the water will spurt on the clothes, but this is how "I" would steam it off.'

touch ups only / , NV   4/7/2008
Heats quickly because the tank is small, leaves clothes damp, especially Irish linen, splatters but convenient for small touch ups and around beading and sequins. Returning.

not as expected / , VA   4/7/2008
I used it for my silk clothing but it left the wet marks and was wet to wear it immediately. The clothing has to be in vertical position to use which is harder to do for big linens. I am planning to return it. Not worth it!

Portable Power Steamer!! / , AZ   4/7/2008
This is NOT a Rowenta Pressure Steamer Iron that Costs more than $160.00! This is the Best value steamer for Quickly turning wrinkled items into Professional Looking Garments: Silk Tweed Jackets, Cotton Jean Jackets, Cotton Denim Jeans, Silk Scarves [that even the iron can't help!]. I have purchased two My Little Steamers, with one planned for a gift for family member who travels and needed a steamer. So, Just so you know this Is a GREAT LITTLE STEAMER!

Works Great / , NY   4/6/2008
The water heats up quickly. I tried it on a T-shirt, fleece sweatshirt and some dress shirts. It took the wrinkles out of everything very easily.

Steamy / , WA   4/6/2008
It won't take the place of an iron, but it might be a handy item. You will need a rack or a hook close to an electrical outlet for hanging clothes that you want to steam. Hold the steamer upright to avoid spilling water and be careful, especially when trying to steam sleeves, because it is possible to get a steam burn. If you're thinking of packing it in a suitcase, it will take up at least as much room as a man's shoe.

Steamer gets a 5 star,user gets a zero! / , PA   4/5/2008
Great little steamer. Removes wrinkles quickly. I am right handed and managed to get my left hand in the way of steam. I used my left hand to straighten garment as I glided over it with steamer. I suggest putting an oven mitten on hand not holding steamer.

Mediocre results would have given it a 3, but since it was outsourced to be made in China, it's getting one star and being sent back-very unpatriotic Joy.
