Wrinkles come back after shirts dry / , TN   4/17/2008
I followed instructions; to pull on material. However, after the wetness dried, the wrinkles were back. I tried 3 different shirts - cotton, modal, & polyester, rayon, spandex- the polyester faired better. These shirts were dried (3+hrs in the JM CloseDrier). It's not worth the time it takes to go over & over with the steamer on the shirts then, still have to use an iron.

HARD TO USE / , NJ   4/17/2008
WHAT A GREAT IDEA IF YOU HAVE FOUR PEOPLE PULLING ON EACH END OF THE GARMENT. COULD NOT USE ALONE. WASTE OF MY TIME AND MONEY.

More Trouble Than It''s Worth / , AL   4/17/2008
Joy's Little Steamer gets hot enough fast enough but it DOES NOT replace an iron. With steam you have to pull the fabric tight to get the wrinkles out and you need one hand to hold the steamer and two hands to pull the fabric. I'm one hand short so after a couple of uses, My Little Steamer is back in the box and stowed in the closet. Maybe if it had a cleaning tip it would be worth something. As it is, it's a complete waste of time & money.

Waste of Money and Time / , NE   4/16/2008
Very cheaply made, don't waste your time

Attachments / , OH   4/16/2008
If I had tons of strength in my hands, it would be ok. But the attachments are 1/2 inch shorter than the steamer head. You tell me how to use them!

Waste of money / , PA   4/15/2008
The steamer is way too heavy to comfortably hold while steaming clothes. The steamer soaked my dry shirts that I was simply trying to unwrinkle. And it didn't take out the wrinkles!!! I was left with soaking wet, wrinkled shirts.

OK BUT NOT GREAT / , MD   4/15/2008
The steamer is ok in a pinch for a quick wrinkle remover when your clothes have been in a suitcase--however, not good for anything heavy-duty. Also, unless you have someone hold up the item for you so you can steam it, your arms become tired. It's not as lightweight as they claim it to be. I will keep it, but would never buy another one.

great product    4/15/2008
Didn't think I was going to use this often (purchased for travel)but find I use it every day. It works great, heats up quickly and I like the retractable cord. I have not found any fabric that I could not steam the wrinkles out of. I experimented with making a crease as shown in the demo and it really did a nice job. I have not used my iron since I got this. No problems with wet clothing; steam just until wrinkles are gone. I highly recommend this steamer.

Works Fine / , WI   4/13/2008
After reading all the reviews, I thought I'd be disappointed. It is so much better than my old steamer. It holds a lot more water, and yes, that makes it heavier. Why would someone think they can still get steam after they unplug it? And yes, clothes are slightly damp after steaming. It is water after all. I just let them hang while I am getting ready. They dry quickly. I rarely iron. I steam everything that has wrinkles. This does exactly what I thought it would do.
