I'm not too sure about the negative reviews. Mine works fabulously, even on 100% cotton. Love it.
If my boyfriend can do it, it has to be good!

I dont understand the poor reviews. It got out almost every wrinkle. It would have gotten 5 stars if it could help with collar wrinkles, but it cant. And it is very heavy for me. But my boyfriend uses it and he likes it, and I bought it for him anyway. Irons just would ruin our clothes. The steamer takes no time at all. Use the larger attatchment and you're good to go! Make sure you hang the garmet. I think the other customers weren't using it right. I am verty picky, and I think this is great!

i was skeptical because of the bad reviews but gave in anyway. i wear scrubs to work and was leary that this product would be able to do a good job on them. WOW!!!!! it worked great!!!! even my t-shirts look brand new, and my husbands golf shirts never looked better. it doesn't mash down the fabric but leaves it looking smooth. i'm so glad i decided to go against the tide and buy this great product.

When i purchased the joy steamer i was excited for it because of how powerful it looked on tv, but when i recieved the steamer and used it it wasn't what i expected it's not worth the price and i think its to heavy for one hand and i think this product sucks and i rather keep my iron becuase this steamer just takes up to much time and is not worth it!!!

Just received and used quickly to be sure it met my needs and it is great. Yes, you have to be careful with the steam but you have to be careful with an iron. Saves time and very efficient. Would be great if there was a design of a hanger at top and sides to better support garment and avoid the chance of steam burns in hard to steam areas like sleeves. Any suggestions?

I am very fond of the little steamer!!! It's a convenience item...not a trip to the dry cleaner. YOU CAN'T tip it forward...it will spit. But if you're looking to quickly freshen up a wrinkly top so you can wear it...then this is for you! My teenager keeps it in her room. I'm buying more for Christmas gifts.

I love Joy Mangano's products - especially her hangers. However, I bought two of these steamers and at first they were fine. I had a bad experience with my steamer, I do agree that this steamer is dangerous. I did not return my steamers, I just threw them away. This steamer has a bad design and HSN should not be selling this product.

Ok, so I am probably the biggest skeptic alive, and this thing does not dissapoint. I bought mine about three months ago and I just love it, I have not ironed since then,, seriously!!! It heats up quick and takes the wrinkles out of everything that I have put it to the test with, even my husbands heavy weight khaki cargo shorts. I dont know what the other reviews are about, maybe I just got lucky, but either way, buy it, try it, and if you dont like it , send it back. It is sooo worth it!!

The first steamer worked better then the new and improved model. The "new and improved" one does not heat up all the way and then will turn itself off before it even starts steaming. Also I can not tilt it forward for more than one or two seconds while steaming and it turns itself off! THis is very annoying. I think mine is defective because I know it should not work like this. But it is past the 30 day return policy. Last nite I went back to the old one that works great. |
