I wish I had read the reviews before ordering. This product is a total waste of time, effort and MONEY. It does not even dry lingerie any faster than air-drying. Can only hold 4 items at a time. Took 2 1/2 hours to dry a pair of 100% cotton capris. I expected them to be practially wrinkle free. They are left even more wrinkled than in the regular clothes dryer. This is definitely going back. I've given it a fair try. Used it four different times. Terrible results.

I tried to dry 2 cotton blouses in the drier, and after two hours the blouses were still very wet from the middle of the blouses down to the bottom. Only the tops were somewhat dry. I took the blouses out and hung them under the ceiling fan, and they were dry within a few minutes. The closedrier is useless.

I am so glad I did not listen to the other reviews and went ahead a tried the drier. I am in love with this product. My closedrier is not loud and drys everything in a very reasonable amount of time, just as promised. It is perfect for fine washables that would otherwise come out of a normal drier in a ball. It is so nice to hang your clothes up, let them dry and walk away. No running back to the normal dryer before you leave your clothes in too long. THANK YOU --

Let me START by saying i have two pairs of jeans and a scarf in the dryer as i type right now and let me tell ya.....they are still as wet as when i put them in there 2 HOURS AGO!!!!!!THIS IS ONLY GOOD IF YOU WANT TO DRY SCARFS ALONE! NOT WORTH THE MONEY OR THE HEADACHE OF PUTTING IT TOGETHER...what a mistake and MISrepresentation.THIS IS GOING BACK TOMMORROW!!!! HSN needs to be ASHAMED for pushing this flimsy cheap looking product..RUN FROM THIS ONE!!!DONT DO IT.. PS IT VERY HEAVY AS WELL!!!

IT PUT IN COTTON SHIRTS,IT TOOK LONGER TO DRY THAN IN MY DRYER AND THEY WERE TOTALLY AS WRINKLED AS WHEN THEY WERE REMOVED FROM THE WASHER. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE EVEN TRY IT. I WASTED TIME PUTTING IT TOGETHER, THEN DISASSEMBLING AND DRAGGING IT OVER TO UPS. I AM NOT IMPRESSED WITH JOY'S INVENTION, SHE NEEDS TO GO BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD, OR SHE CAN REFUND ME MY S&H ON THIS HORRIBLE PRODUCT.

This portable dryer is a great idea, but the one from Joy falls short in the performance department. Don't know why it is shown to dry "fast", then the instructions say it takes 1-3 hours depending on what and how many items are inside. I bought 2, sent back 2. A costly mistake in the shipping charges. Beware consumers, this one does not dry stuff.

Took our new CloseDrier on vacation to a very rustic cabin in the damp Smoky Mountains, nothing would dry. Plugged in the CloseDrier and even our towels were dry and fluffy the next morning. It works beautifully. Tried it again at home on a blouse that doesn't do well in the BIG home drier. It came out of the CloseDrier so well I bought the same blouse in a different color. I wanted this product to mostly dry lingerie and and other line dry items. After 3 hours for my undergarments, they were still wet! I tried it again for lightweight knits and it worked (after 2 hours)ONLY if you put 1 item at a time. I'm afraid of what my electric bill will be for this month. Between that and the cost of returning, HSN and Joy should give me money. I won't let Joy and HSN trick me again. Everything I have ever bought with her brand was worthless.

Joy, you must hire David in Ohio as a product tester. He absolutely has the problem resolved which is the only issue I have with the unit. That is at age 57, I have to get down on my knees with a flashlight to read the LCD and turn the unit on. A REMOTE is totally a super idea David in Ohio. That's using the 'Ol noggin. Otherwise, the dryer works for me!!! I first dried a very wet embellished jean jacket in 1 hr. 2 wet jeans in 1 hour. I'm am happy with it, but my knees are not.

I LOVE this dryer! I only dry my shirts with this dryer no need to use Joy's steamer when they're done. NO wrinkles = NO ironing. But you did drop the ball on one point. You always talk about your mom and how hard it is for her to bend over but you require everyone to bend down to enter the drying settings, you need a remote. So, shame on you, but THANK YOU for all of your wonderful products. I guess you can make a mistake once in awhile. LOL God bless you and your family. |
