SHOULD HAVE TRUSTED other reviewers / , TX   12/18/2008
I usually love Joy's products, so I was excited to try this - hoping to bypass spending big $$s on a new steam dryer (which I only wanted for its "refresh" functionality). I tried it on different settings with various fabrics and with 1-4 pieces at a time. Everything came out wrinkled. It is supposed to be great on embellished jeans - NOT! My DG2 jeans came out wrinkled and crooked. I get better results just hang-drying. It's going back, regardless of the high cost of shipping it back.

I was so excited to get this. I hang a lot of my clothes to dry and thought this would be a lot better (and faster) than covering up doorways and shower rods with my wet clothes. I tried several items in this and it only did an okay job. It wouldn't dry my sweaters or heavier cotton items, even after running it several times. It took a while to dry even the lightweight undergarments. It is fairly loud and bulky. Also, the rods do not store in the unit. I have returned it.

Works beautifully / , MN   12/6/2008
This product is great! I've had this product for a few months and it as paid for itself! I used it on my delicate/lightweight summer items and am now using it on my sweaters. They come out beautifully--no more flat drying!! I use this twice a week if not more. Joy meant it when she said it's like a delicate Arizona breeze so heavier items take a little longer but it works on them! The machine is quiet and easy to use. I keep mine ready to use next to my regular dryer. Great idea!

Stopped working for no reason / , TX   12/1/2008
I loved the product when it worked, after about four months and well past the 30 day return date it simply will not start anymore. Very dissappointed for the first time with any of Joy's products. I will not buy another one.

LOVE THIS PRODUCTj! / , IN   11/21/2008
I LOVE THIS DRYER. My 21 year old daughter and I have so many lay flat to dry & hang to dry items. We contstantly clutter our laundry room with wet clothes. Now we hang even the lay flat to dry things & use the dryer. Clothes come out great. HINT: Take a dryer sheet and hang it from one of the clips for even fresher smelling items. No more cluttered laundry room. Others have said it's hard to read the display. We use it so often we have the number of clicks per button memorized.

Wish I'd learn to read the reviews. My second Mangano product, and waste of money. Extremely loud, and takes forever to dry anything. I've used it exactly 3 times in the past year. The 4 hangers included, however, worked great.

I also bought this product despite the negative reviews. I have purchased several other Joy Mangano products and have always found them to be high quality. I dried heavy sweat pants and a heavy sweat top with embellishments without any difficulty and it worked very well. I used the high heat and high fan setting, and my expensive sweat suit came out perfect!! I would recommend this product to anyone.

I purchased this dryer dispite the negative reviews, and mine works great. It wasn't hard to assemble, it is alittle loud, but not bad. I put 1 pair of jeans, two shirts in the dryer and it dried in less than 2 hours with no wrinkles and shrinking. I am looking forward using this on trips. Make sure you have on the right temp. Mine is a keeper!

This takes too long to dry anything. Very disappointed in this product. I normally like anything Joy invents but not this one. It gives me the impression of drying my delicates with a hair blow dryer.

Very Poor Performance / , NY   8/24/2008
This dryer is not at all worth the money. It is loud and takes a long time to dry anything. I like the idea, but the product doesn't deliver. Thought it would be a good idea to gently dry hand washable work clothes, I was very dissapointed. The electric chord also got stuck in the out position after one use. Would not reccommend.
