I am very pleased with the purifiers. I live in an apt & have to deal with tenants cigarette smell/food odors. The purifiers get rid of the odors completely. Noise is not a problem. On low it's a hum & the turbo setting is good at night for blocking out noise. They are designed for small areas so you can't expect them to work miracles in a large home. There's a slight smell of plastic when ionizer is first turned on, but don't notice it after a few minutes. Overall, I'm happy with the results.

I ordered these because I was impressed with the demonstrations on HSN. However, having had them running for two weeks I see no difference in the Air quality in my home. At a minimum I expected them to disperse cooking ordors quickly, but the do not. As far as I am concerned two regular fans will work as well or better. Finally as they are not eligible for easy returns they were very expensive to ship back. Overall I consider this purchase a waste of my time and money.

I cant understand the negative reviews on this product! I absolutely love mine and couldn't be happier with it. The minute that I cut them on,I could smell the difference in the air! I dont find them to be noisy at all! If the setting is too loud then you can set it to the sleep mode which is a lower fan option. It is stated in the HSN Airing that the black carbon filter can be vacuumed as well. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to better the air quality in their home!

I bought these for my daughter, because she has allergies and the gentlemen representing this product said within 2 days you should see a difference or send them back...no difference, so that is exactly what I'm going to do,also very noisy.

I agree with the others...they claim that it is whisper quiet on the night setting which it is not...still debating whether to send them back...I have a ionic breeze that does collect a lot of stuff... I could use the money else where.

Saw this on the TV thought it would be great since my husband has breathing problems. They said all you had to do was clean the filter with a vacuum and that you never needed to replace the filters. They arrived today. Instructions say the carbon filter had to be replaced every 3 months at $44.00 and the filter that you could clean with a vacuum had to be replaced every year. That is ridiculous! Especially when you advertise that you never have to change the filters.

Initial reactions: Nice looking unit, does not move very much air so therefore limited capability, but is quite noisy. Having used two older models (the larger square shaped ones) for years with good results, I suspect that these will be far less effective but won't really know for a couple of weeks of runtime to check the prefilter for dust collection. I will probably try to find models similar to my old ones and may return these. Time will tell.......

I cooked quite a lot of food for New Year's Day and could not wait to see how this purifier worked. Unfortunately, I've had it on for 2 days straight and I can still smell the Bar-B-Q.
