I purchased this vacuum last year, and it has just stopped working correctly. It's gotten to a point when the vacuum will turn on when it feels like it, or it will just shut off in the middle of vacuuming. When I first purchased the vacuum, I was very excited because the suction was great; however, it did have a few quirks. It is messy to empty, it tips over, the handle is tricky. Overall, I am not happy with this purchase.

It cleans exceptionally well, however, upon putting unit together the handle would not insert properly...my husband being much stronger than I was able to assemble it correctly. A little silicone lubricant did the trick. The hose does not stretch well and pulls the vacum back towards you. It has many design flaws...to many to mention. Cannister is difficult to remove and re-insert. I would have returned it but did not want to waste the mnoey on return fees.

I've always had to borrow a neighbors vacuum, or I got someones old hand-me-downs. I never owned a real brand new vacuum. I must admit I was thrilled (over a vacuum?) Only 2 negatives I can say. The color makes the vacuum look cheap. And it also said not to vacuum talc like products, something about the filter. There goes "carpet fresh" But who cares, I have a cleaning lady that comes in 3 days a week.

This is a good vacuum cleaner for the price. I have had the PowerMax Fusion since December 2008 and it works great. The filter is a breeze to clean, just take it apart and soak it in a sink full of soapy water, rinse, dry and reassemble. The features aren't as fancy as the expensive models, but for $119.00 I have no complaints. Excellent vacuum for the price.

The product is excellent. We have 1 dog adn two cats and it picks up pet hair very well. It is easy to empty and the suction power is great for every type of surface. We love it.

This a good vacuum easy to put together easy to clean plus great payments it sucks up the dirt, Im very happy and thanks to H S N for having easy payments its good for the working class people who cant go out and pay 1 lump sum thanks again

Hard to push, Messy to empty, plastic hose assembly in a little over a year snapped from brittle plastic fittings. The filters have to be cleaned on a regular basis. In 20 years this is the worst vaccum I have ever owned, and the worst product ever purchased from HSN. You can get a better operating vaccum for $40 from a big box store. Don't waste your time or money on this terrible design of a vaccum.

great suction but a piece of junk. the handle won"t go down and it comes out in your hand. it snapped like directions said, but won"t work correct. the handle won"t click when you are trying to stand it up right, and you have to fight to get it to stay up,the hose will not stretch very easy and a mess when you empty it. awful!!!!!!!! WHEN YOU CALL 800 NUMBER YOU ONLY GET RECORDINGS.

OVERHEATS    4/13/2009
I have this vacuum cleaner and it hasn't been over 2 years, yes it does get the dirt up, but it is now starting to overheat and it shuts itself down. I have another friend who has the same identical vacuum and it does the same thing. So if you want to keep spending that much money almost every year and half it's just not living up to the HOOVER name anymore. Better off buying the ones at Walmart for 60.00
