This vacum has good suction, but it doesnt pick up on hard surfaces well at all, it just kicks stuff back out. It is also heavy and hard to tote up the stairs. It is just OK

I was so excited to be getting a new vacuum,especially since the host showed us that she could pick it up w/one finger----yea right! This vacuum SUCKS! and not in a good way. The suction is nothing to brag about, and it's extremly heavy. And it is so inconvient to clean,I have to take it outside to clean because of all the dust in the container,and it never has reached the fill line cause it couldn't handle it. HSN should feel ashamed for even selling this product to anyone,especially in these hard times. It has made me think twice about buying anything else from them. I might just stick with QVC.

It works great! I have 2 dogs and 2 cats so you can imagine the hair. Picks it up with no problem. It is a little messy to clean but so what. Once a week I take it apart and clean everything. Maybe the people who have had problems should take apart and make sure nothing is stuck in it. I had a friend who had a problem with it losing suction and found something plastic and gotten stuck in the hose and was letting nothing pass. It would over heat and shut off. Cleaned it out and it works perfectly. I have owned mine since January and it's still works as great as the first day I took out of the box!

If I would have reviewed this vacuum a month after purchase, the review would be great because it worked like a charm...really liked it. Only thing I didn't like was it was heavy & a bit difficult to empty. But 4 months later the problems began...& I only have 1 room with carpet! It would shut off intermittently & then finally it just died. I was so frustrated. I threw it in the back of the closet (thinking I would gt it fixed). Instead I bought a Dyson from HSN & 10 months later...still works like a dream! The Hoover is in the trash.

THIS VACUUM IS JUNK. HOOVER AND HSN SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES. WHY DOESN'T HSN LET SOME OF THEIR HOSTS TRY OUT PRODUCTS BEFORE THEY SELL THEM TO US TO SEE WHAT THE HOSTS THINK ABOUT THEM FIRST. DO NOT BUY THIS VACUUM. HEAVY, HARD TO CLEAN, AND PARTS HAVE BROKEN OFF MINE IN LESS THAN 3 MONTHS OF USE. DID YOU KNOW THAT HOOVER IS NOT AMERICAN ANYMORE EITHER????? SOLD TO FOREIGNERS. MAYBE THATS WHY THEIR STANDARDS OF PRODUCTION ARE NOW HORRIBLE.

I purchased this vac in March of 09 I think it picks up great!! I do find that this vac is PRETTY heavy and that it can be very messy to clean but for the price it is great!!! I highly recommend this vac

Assembly was simple. The handle took a little elbow grease to install, but I managed. Suction is strong. Onboard attachments work well, I use them to vac steps & couches & it picked up EVERYTHING. It empties easily but can be a lil messy. A lil weighty & a slight resistance when pushing becuz of the suction. I use it once a week & have had it for 4mos & it works like new. I reccommend this to everyone. The EZ pay helped out alot. GR8 value!!

You should be ashamed to advertize this product. It's a mess I purchased this vacuum 3months ago, and it has just stopped working correctly. It''s gotten to a point when the vacuum will turn on when it feels like it, or it will just shut off in the middle of vacuuming. When I first purchased the vacuum, I was very excited because the suction was great; however,It is messy to empty, it tips over. Overall, I am not happy with this purchase. There is no benefits to this vacuum.

I have 3 dogs and birds. It does a great job getting all the pets messes up and I really like it because it is light and easy to empty.
