Ordered this TV for my husband and he decided to put it in the extra room because the TV was not the HD full 1080 and my husband want another TV that was a full 1080.

My son seems to be very happy with this television. I honestly can't say that i ever saw it out of the box but, he says you can't go wrong gifting a televison.

I found this tv to be easy to hook up...my husband is in Iraq so I was quite scared I would screw it up! My only problem is I can't get my Directv remote to work...but that has nothing to do with the tv! The picture is clear and crisp. I do not have a HD reciever so it's just using the regular service and it's still great. I really wanted to try this and take advantage of the flex pay. It's a great way to get items you want and not pay for it all up front or charge a credit card! Directions were easy to follow and shipping was AMAZING! I ordered it on Thursday and Saturday morning it was already in my town. I thought I wouldn't recieve it until Tuesday b/c of MLK day but recieved it Monday! Thanks for the great tv at a great value all around!

Really love this TV. Very easy to set up. Great tuner, brings in loads of channels. I was looking for one that delivered a good sound and this one is great. May look for a larger one in the future and put this in my bedroom but I will remember -- Hitachi!!!

UPS knocked on my door to make sure I was home, then went back to the truck and brought the box to my door and he DROPPED it at least 2 feet. Then had me sign for it. Of coarse the packaging was alright, so I proceeded to unpack and set it up. Moving my old monster making room for the new TV only to barely see the screen say one moment please. After a couple days troubleshooting I call for assistance to find out that they wanted me to drive 100 miles to get the main circuit board replaced. In short Christmas was ruined all money tied up til mid January. I was hoping to be one of the many happy people. Not so, still waiting for my money before I can buy one locally. Not Hitachi. They were no help.

Great TV, and the price is exceptional! You can't beat the screen size and style compared to others even in a more expensive price range. Hitachi is a great brand. My only complaint is that it's hard to set the screen size/proportion so that the images aren't pixilated. I prefer viewing in full screen, but the images became distorted a little. Seems there are limited settings (the three or four the tv automatically offers you) where the image is crystal clear. Ofcourse I could be doing something wrong, but I read the manual and followed the steps. In wide screen, the picture is fantastic but takes up a smaller amount of the screen than I expected. I felt like...why pay for more screen space if most of it isn't used....

I received this tv as a gift to myself, way before Christmas. My husband has a different lcd in his man room. He likes mine soooo much more. It was so easy to set up, just plug it in and your set. love the timer and easy aspect controls, light controls, plus the tuners in this tv lets me listen to the radio channels, that my husbands tv can't. HAHA. same cable just mine is better. ordered and received in 5 days, Next lcd we buy will be a bigger Hitachi for the family room, I can't wait until the old tv goes. If your on the fence about this purchase just get in on the hsn card, but get it . you won't be sorry.Thank you HSN.
