Sticky performance / , MD   7/25/2008
After some occasional use with no problems, I tried the grill pan for steaks with terrible results. I was left with a sticky, burnt-on mess that would not come clean, no matter how hard I scrubbed. We have since tried to fry eggs, stir fry, and sear meat, each of which resulted in a sticky, impossible to clean mess. I am sending these pans to the manufacturer for a replacement, as HSN is unwilling to give me a refund. I believe this product to be defective and worthy of a class-action refund.

Pan is not always "non-stick" / , FL   7/24/2008
We own the grill pan and seasoned it properly before first use as directed. We grilled whole baby eggplants in it and they left massive amounts of black spots which must have been skin on the pan. We can not get these off no matter what we tried. Only a fingernail could scrape off the black bits, and now we are left with a pan permanently disfigured with brown "shadow" spots where the black ones were. Very disappointed in this pan and would not recommend it as "nonstick".

Bought these awhile ago for my husband to cook breakfast since we needed new non-stick pans. First they were great. Then the bacon started sticking.Then the eggs. Cursing ensued since the eggs got demolished trying to get them out of the pan. Very disappointed. Wish I could send them back!!!!!

I have had my set for about 3 months now. My only complaint is the exterior. It just doesn't come clean and some of the finish is wearing off a bit. The interior is very easy to clean. Sometimes, I use alittle margaine but you don't have to. My husband is happy with it and he loves to cook!!

SO DISAPPOINTED!!!!    7/23/2008
Wow, I am so disappointed in these pans! I bought this set, the paella pan, wok set, and dutch oven. I just sent them ALL BACK! I followed the directions and even seasoned the pan repeatedly since it didn't seem to work the first time! What's weird is that they really do clean up easily. A paper towel works every time! If you don't mind using oil or butter every time you cook, then I guess these would be okay. Guess I'll just keep looking for the perfect pans!

I was really excited to get my green pans. I have never been able to get an ice rink in my pans, even from the beginning. I followed instructions to season them. I have always had to use oil (or butter) to cook with. With my one large pan, it even has scratches in it, because my hash browns stuck so bad. I watch every time the Chef airs, just to see if there was something I did wrong, but I don't believe I did.

LOVE AFFAIR WITH GREENPAN DOESN''T LAST.... / , AZ   7/20/2008
I loved this set when I first bought it less than six months ago. If I had reviewed this set the first month after purchase I would have given a rave review. BUT.......... After three months of usage, everything sticks, eggs, meat, fish you name it. The frying pans turn brown and seasoning doesn't work anymore. I am very careful with my cookware and follow MFG's directions to the letter I am so disappointed with GREENPAN.

I don't understand the negative reviews. I use the green pans daily since we received them and find them wonderful to work with. I did find that you have to reduce the heat a little bit because they cook hot. Once you learn that they are great. Cleanup is a breeze, when done cooking just wet paper towels to wipe the pan out and when you are ready, a soapy sponge and water and nothing ever sticks. I would not hesitate to get other pieces as desired.

WONDERING ABOUT SCRATCHES ON OUTER SURFACE! / , WA   7/19/2008
Do I need to be concerned? I have the original GreenPan set. The inner surface cleans well; however, the outside of the pans are immensely scratched, although I have been extremely cautious in caring for the set! In other words, the outside of each pan looks much like the inside of the old Teflon-coated pans we threw out. What's up with this?

I bought this set as a gift to myself at Christmas when it was the todays special value. At first, I absolutely loved them but after a months they are worthless as a non-stick pan.
