i read the reviews and was careful with the pans. I have never used cooking spray. i have seasoned them with oil. I heat the pan before putting the food in it. No matter what I try, I cannot fry an egg in the frying pans without it sticking. Please, if anyone has found a way to fry an egg in these pans, write it in your review. I have been reading reviews to try to find hints for using these pans. I am highly suspicious of the positive reviews.
Green pan sticks

I have purchase the green pan when they fist were introduce as the greatest invention. True the frist time i use the pan to cooked an egg it roll of the pan the second time i used it the egg stuck to the pan and burned in a matter of seconds. It is for show when it is shown on TV as a great cookware i do not recommend any one buying the green pan. I went back to Wolfgang Pucks stainless steel cookware.

Got this set for my daughter who is a chef..Mom, you wasted your money. Indeed...it does stick after initial cooking.

I have to tell all of you in question of the green pans that I recieved a set as a present for Christmas.. I tell you that these are wonderful quality. Not only do they hold true of everthing that is said about them but the flavor of your food is great!! I read some negitive reviews and was blown away. I am only speaking for myself and use them everyday with wonderful success.

After very little use these pans did Not maintain the non-stick surface, the surface was pitted, and was extremely difficult to clean. I have already thrown this waste of money in the trash. Additionally, the design of the bottom of the pans is too thin to maintain a uniform temperature across the cooking surface. Don't waste your time and money on this product. HSN you should not sell this product until it is substantially improved.

The bottoms of these pots and pans scratch very easily. While the concept is a good one, too bad they are so fragile.

I have had this set for 8 months. I am not sure about the other reviews but the non-stick aspect is fantastic. I loved them. However, the exterior immediately was all scratched up, but I loved the interior so I kept them. Now the insides are all knicked up. Aluminum showing. What a mess. I also bought the high priced double grill pan (love the size and non-stick) but it is also all knicked up too. I am out lots of money. Do not buy the greenpan.

THIS IS THE BEST I HAVE USED YET. I HAVE NOT USED OIL OR BUTTER AND EVERTHING JUST SLIDES OUT. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT.

Love them -no prblem with food sticking. I bought them 6 months ago and waited to place a review after hearing people were having trouble after using them for a while. I use them daily, the outer coating does scratch, but when I looked at my other high dollar pans, they were scratched as well. I have not put them in the dishwasher, I always wash my pans by hand right after cooking. I have to give it 4 stars, just because of the outer pan scratching and was told it wouldn't.

I got these several months ago and use them daily. I didn't read the directions upon arrival and so I didn't know to season these pans...maybe that's the key since even sticky foods only require a good shower with my water sprayer (or whatever that thing next to the faucet is) to get clean. The only thing I sometimes need to pay attention to is making sure the rivets are clean, since they aren't non-stick. I love these pans and am really pleased with their performance! |
