wasted money
/ , FL
I purchased the pans several months ago and they were fantastic. Now they only don't stick if you are using liquid or oil in cooking. I made turkey burgers on the grill pan and it stuck and was impossible to clean. The company said to use 409 ir fantastic which did nothing.I re seasoned the pans as per directions but they still stick if used on a high temp and without liquid or oil. I wish HSN would be honest and tell people that they might stick and how to clean them
Loved it at 1st...but no more!

When I first started using the GreenPan it was great! But after several uses food began to stick. It was very hard to clean. Finally bought another product. Was past my warranty with HSN so the gave me info for manufactuer. Registered my complaint but haven't heard a word, yet.
Also Disappointed
I have to agree, these pans are far from non-stick. I love the idea of no chemicals being released at higher cooking temps.,and they do cook well but cleaning them is not easy. I have used the grill pan 3 times - tonight being the 3rd-and I have it soaking as I type and that is just from a couple grilled cheese sandwiches.
Very disappointed,

I cannot beleive HSN is still selling the pans, I wish I could of sent mine back, I purchased mine several months ago. Today, I threw them in the trash,,I can no longer deal with the sticking,,,I followed the directions. At first they seemed ok, but not like they demonstrated...Just stuck more and more, so what are you to do after the return time runs out. Save your money, Money is tight right now, throwing money like this in the trash, Thanks HSN
Great Pans

My husband uses the small fry pan every day making soup or eggs and he's not gentle. It works very well and cleans up very well. We've had ours since before Christmas last year.
STICKS!!!
Ww splurged on these pans and made them our Christmas gift to ourselves. We can get them clean with a lot of work-However they do not work like the demo. This is the first product from HSN that disappointed. And no one at HSN seems to care.
BEST EVER

I have used these pans for several months with excellent results. I'am on an oil free diet and cook everything from eggs to meatloaf,on top of the stove and in the oven, with no problems. Clean up is either a swipe with a dish cloth or a dip in sudsy water, even the water slides off -so very little drying required. I will order more Greenpan products and advise anyone that is looking for the "best set of cookware you've ever used" to purchase as soon as possible
Ultraex it ain

The first time I used the larger pan, it beacame permanently stained. The pan is an unattractive gray, flimsy pan to begin with. The second time I used it, things stuck even though I sprayed the pan. Now I only use it with a lot of grease or use the steamer insert. Ultrex it ain't! I have had those pans for 10 yrs. and they are still like new. Why has HSN got rid of all their good house brands and replaced them with celebrity junk?
Lower expectation and raise the instructions

I have used this pan set for several months with mostly positive results. To be real, stuff DOES stick from time to time but it is easier to clean than other technologies(deglaze with hot water). Also, use English's nylon utensils with great care or they will melt and mark your pans. Wood is safer with high-heat cookware. The fry pan and lid is a winner; the grill pan is useless since it retains carmelization in its grooves and frustrates cleaning. I like the steamer insert's capacity.
Dissapointed
I bought the first set they showed. The grill pan was bad from the first time used. The 11 inch is un-useable, it sticks badly, and the non-stick is ruined. I took care of these pans and this should not have happened. I have two sets of Todd's original cookware and would not take anything in the world for it. It has held up beautifully. The green pans can go to the trash. They shouldn't put them out there on the market before they can do better than this. |
