like the camera, but very fragile    9/17/2008
the pictures are great, but you really have to be careful when handling it.it breaks really easy.i was holding it and brushed up against the car seat and the whole lense fell out.i was stupid enough not to have gotten insurance on it.i called the ge warranty line and they told me that it was not covered under the warranty. i just finished paying it off with flexpay. now i have a $200 shell of a worthless camera. be very careful or at least get the insurance.

Good Camera for the money but not spectacular / , TN   4/9/2008
I purchased this camera to replace my 6.1 mp kodak. I love my kodak but wanted more. This camera does have great features and takes good pictures. My issue is shutter reload speed. You miss a lot of action shots because it does not take the photo right when you push the button and it takes several seconds to reload unlike my kodak that is imediate response for both these issues. For now I will stick with my kodak (which I also purchased from HSN and love).

I bought this camera about two weeks ago and have not been able to put it down. The pictures are great. I have received many compliments on it. Very happy that I was able to purchased before they sold out.

I have had digital cameras since they were 2.5 lbs & 3 1/2 disk drives,the E 1235 was more frustrating,you had to hold your breath for 30 seconds to get a decent shot.We went to an Aquarium (using the aquarium setting)and if that had been our only chance to get some memorable shots I would have been mad.It was blurry and we ended up using our cellphones instead. 1.3 Mpx of fish is better than 12 mpx of smudge any day in my book.The panoramic was cool,but it wasn't worth keeping just for that.

Am a "gadget lady" who tries to hide her great little finds from her man. After a couple days...I broke down & ordered him one so he'd keep his hands off mine. Well, he LOVES IT TOO; "MR. KNOWS HIS STUFF" has NO complaints & he keeps it belted to him.

Just received this E1235 3/24/08, and haven't been able to put it down(except to eat/sleep)!!! Great pictures, fantastic movies, and can't say enough about the "panorama" feature. By adding the available 4g SD/SDHC card...this is the ONLY camera anyone would ever need!! Everyone should own one of these!!

i was really hesitant about purchasing a camera online without playing around with it first, but this camera is awesome. and where can you ever find a 12MP camera for this price??? i'm extremely happy with my purchase

I bought this for my son as a birthday present. This camera really blew us away. The pictures are very clear and it takes perfect smile photos. We also own a Nikon and a Leica camera and this can definitely compete with the high end cameras.BUY IT!!!

Excellent Quality~Great Pictures~More Technology / , PA   3/23/2008
I purchased a Fuji S700 last year; which, has been Excellent. However, 10X Optical Zoom means to sacrifice size. This camera has more technology than I can ever use; and, when it says Auto, it means-- Auto. Everything is figured out. I must say this may slow down the camera; however, in reality, this may take less time. So, if you want a high quality camera, this is a great deal. I love to shop; and, I explored many cameras. This offered the best value to date.
