LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS CAMCORDER

This is the perfect camcorder to carry in your purse an get those unexpected moments. It is so easy to use and I had no problem with the Flip and my computer. I also did the "upgrade" and had no problem. I save my video clips in a file on my computer desktop so they are easy to send. BUT: I have finally found a small camcorder that can be used by someone who is left-handed. Most camcorders have a strap and all the major buttons on the right side. A great mini-camcorder.

I really love this flip ultra camera. So easy to use!! Unfortunately it's not compatable with my computer. I love it, but hate that I can't attach it to my computer. Unfortunately it will probably go back.

I REALLY LIKE THIS CAMERA BUT IT SEEMS TO BE INCOMPATIBLE WITH MY COMPUTER. I COULD NOT GET IT TO WORK WITH IT. SO SORRY IT HAD TO GO BACK.

Honestly, this is one fun little mini camcorder to use! I carry mine in my purse so I have it ready when I need it! I use this camcorder for those spur of the moment opportunities. Movies are also easy to put on your computer. I love my FLIP!

I own this model, and the Flip Mino HD. Well worth having both! The Flip Ultra is an excellent choice for someone on the go - put it in your pocket or bag,and you are really truly good to go! Email and You Tube are a breeze,and just might impress friends and family- take a video and seconds later, people across the country or overseas have it! Last note - the green model is hard to find, but HSN has it!
tough software update

I kept getting popups on my computer asking me to download an updated software version. I did it.It failed in mid-effort; after that, the Flip software wouldn't work. I decided to remove the software as I assume I can re-install the original software in the camera when I plug in the camera again. I haven't done it yet, but am pretty comfortable with the possibilities of success doing that. I recommend NOT downloading the updated software from the popups.

This camcorder is great. It is easy to use, and I ordered 2 more for gifts. No, it's not the highest quality picture especially full-screen, but it is good quality especially considering the convenience/price of the Flip Ultra. The sound is good especially on computer or tv. The person being filmed needs to speak a little louder for the mic to pick it up clearly. I am very pleased.

This is exactly what I was looking for, It is very easy to use the software makes e-mailing video or editing very easy. 60 minutes is perfect for parties and events and the video is very clear.

Other than only zooming 2x (which you know in advance before you buy), I really like this little gadget. Easy to use and though it took awhile to dowload the upgrade (which was free), it was worth it. I have 2 new nieces and it was great to video and then send to family. My kids can use it because of how simple it is. |
