As a senior with straight, shoulder length hair, I used those "clippies" to hold my hair in the summer months (Las Vegas - hot 9 months of the year). I just like the look and feel of long hair but I HATE those clippies. Now, I've had the hair combs for about a month and they work easily, look "sharp" and I wish they came in summer colors". I had to play with them a little the first time but now, it's a breeze.
Am so happy I ordered these combs!

I started to send these back because I couldn't get them to stay in my hair after looking at the instruction booklet and trying several times to put them in. I finally realized that I was putting them in the wrong way. It's hard to understand how to do this by just looking at the booklet. The video explains it better. I have very fine hair and these combs, once I learned how to use them properly, hold my hair very securely. They are beautiful and sturdier than those found in the store.

I had no problem using these to put up my thick waist length hair. They could have had stronger combs, but seem reasonable for the price. Not defective in any way. Comfortable to wear. HSN has these priced way less than buying direct from manufacturer. Complaint: received silver, caramel and wooden beaded combs, not the black. The wood is OK with me but some may not like it.

The DVD did not work the combs were not the color advertised and would not hold my medium to thick hair up.

Came in a shoddy little box...MADE IN CHINA.... and broken combs to boot. And to return you have to call HSN to send you the necessary paperwork because the company that sends the item (not sent by HSN) does not include an order summary. What a waste of time and money. Cheap Cheap Cheap!

OMG, poor reviews?! A set for me & mom, gave a demo on how 2 do it and she loves it! Like mine too. Metal combs could be thicker, but they work. Had a $60 set years ago, quality was better, but it busted after 1 yr & I was out $60, so for the price, these will work. No prob with 2 loose, etc. & have VERY thick shoulder length hair. Key is learning which way 2 turn the combs in your hand before putting 2 the back of head & slowly removing when you're done. U have 2 do it backwards.

I just had to jump in and say these are great! I do not know how the reviewers who gave bad ratings are using them, but, without even looking at the DVD, I put my just past shoulder length hair up into the most comfortable pony tail I have ever had! The combs look great and hold well. Love em.

Just received the EZ Combs and instantly put them in my hair. They are great! I have a cute little updo in seconds. After I put my hair up, I used my teasease comb and fluffed out my pony tail. It looks so fresh! My hair is fine, a little longer than shoulder length. Holds great!

I used these combs and they did not hold up my hair and they tangle easily. VERY POOR QUALITY. They certainly are not like what they were advertised to be. They don't hold your hair up, they are small. tangle easily, The little combs are very cheap. Don't waste your money on this item. Returning mine. |
