They really do work

I did my own test with grape tomatoes on the cupboard. Half in the green box, half in the original container. When the ones in the original container were shrivaled and rotten, the ones in the green box still looked great. I also noticed my strawberries are keeping much nicer!

They are wonderful, I got them over week ago, I put everything in them, the one container I had a half tomotoe in it from last weekend was still great 6 days later, that tell you a lot.
Please make more of the medium sizes...

I love this set. Nothing has kept bananas for me like this has!!! However - the pieces are mostly on the small size. I would find more of the medium size much more useful! I would have given 5 stars if that were the case with this set. I want to save produce. How much produce can you save in those tiny containers? I can use the "usual" plastic storage ware for saving smaller items.

GOT THESE THE OTHER DAY AND A FEW OF THE LIDS WERE BROKEN AND THERE ARE CRACKS IN 3 OF THE BOXES. NOT WORTH IT THE QUALITY WAS HORRIBLE AND I DONT REALLY LIKE HER PRODUCTS AT ALL..THEY ARE GOING BACK. I WILL NOT ORDER ANYTHING OF HERS AGAIN. GOT THE BAGS AND THEY WERE TERRIBLE. DID NOTHING. GOT THE VACUUM SEAL AND IT IS HORRIBLE ALTHOUGH I STILL KEPT IT. IT TAKES FOREVER TO GET THE AIR OUT OF THE BAGS AND I STILL SEE FREEZER BURN ON THE STORED ITEMS.

Debbie Meyer has exceeded the quality in her product. Yes, there are bad reviews but, these people that are writing the bad reviews do not know how to use this product. My food has stayed fresher and crispier than I could have ever imagined. The key to using this product is-if you see any kind of condensation in the boxes immediately wipe your food and the box completely dry and reinsert your food. You will find that your food will stay fresher and crispier for a longer period of time. I do not throw away any more food. Thanks Debbie for a great product.

Have bags & boxes. Lids snap tight. Find which foods keep longer- in boxes or bags. Nothing helps bananas or pears for long. These fruits ripen from inside out. Bags work better, but does alter taste. BAGS for bread & cheese don't work. Only disappointment noted. I use long boxes for buns & breads. Kept in fridge creates condensation, so I put a paper towel inside beneath & over breads/buns to absorb moisture cold creates. Check frequently as use occurs. Get 3X the life w/o mold. Small bowls keep tomatoes for 2 weeks; lettuce better in bags unwashed. Water is this products enemy. Avoid pre-washing until use. Grapes last for weeks as do oranges. Apples last in bags forever & stay crisp in fridge produce drawers. Overall have saved $$ & food that is usually tossed in a week. Gave as Xmas gifts to friends who live alone or in couples. Rave reviews! Learn how this works & try boxes or bags accordingly.

The green boxes are useful for storing items, but I have not been able to replicate storage times on air especially with bread.

I LOVE BAKERY BREAD, THE KIND WITH NO PRESERVATIVES, AND IT KEEPS IT FRESH UNTIL I EAT IT. I HATE TO THRIOW FOOD AWAY, WICH IS WHY I BOUGHT THE BOXES IN THE FIRST PLACE, THE ONLY COMPLAINT I HAVE IS WITH THE SIZES OF THE BOXES. MAYBE I BOUGHT THE WRONG KIT, BUT I BOUGHT THE STARTER KIT AND AND EXTRA KIT WITH TWO REALLY LARGE BOXES. THE PROBLEM I HAVE FOUND WITH THE TWO KITS I BOUGHT IS THAT THEY ARE BIG ENOUGH TO HOLD BREAD AND THE REALLY BIG BOXES FROM THE SECOND KIT WILL HOLD CHIPS OR CEREAL, BUT, MOST OF THE OTHER BOXES ARE TOO SMALL FOR VEGATABLLES, WICH IS WHAT I PURCHASED THEM FOR. THEY ARE BIG ENOUGH FOR BBERRIES AND MAYBE SOME MUSHROOMS IF YOU ARE NOT ALREADY USING THAT ONE FOR TOMATOS, BUT TRY TO FIT IN BROCCOLI OR ZUCCINI OR YELLOW SQUASH...IT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.THEY DO KEEP THE FOOD FRESH AS LONG AS SHE CLAIMS, BUT THE BOXES SHOULD BE SIZED BETTER.ESPECIALLY WHEN I BOUGHT 2 KITS

Well I have tried the green bags and they were ok but not very convenient so I ordered the green boxes. The lids are a problem and either do not shut tight or if they do it's very difficult to open them and I'm a guy! I was going to order another set because they seem to work ok but after reading all of the negative comments I'm not going to order another set. All of these people can't be wrong. Should be a lesson for Debbie Meyer to improve her product and listen to her customers. It's easier to keep customers than to find new ones. |
