can i give it NO stars? / shesnothappy, CA   9/8/2009
As many others have stated, I wish i had read the reviews before purchasing. First I tried the bags with very limited success. I had hoped that they would work for bread (which went moldy within two days, so back to storing bread in the fridge) and for bananas (which seem to go bad FASTER and taste weird) Gave up on the bags, have thrown most of them away since they were difficult to clean. Then I tried the boxes, thinking they would work better and be easier to clean. Well, at least they are easier to clean, but are no better than Glad or Ziplok boxes found in any store at a fraction of the price. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY like I did. Over $100 spent on this garbage that makes garbage!! Shame on HSN for continuing to endorse this product.

Green Box - DON'T BUY / zeee135, OH   9/8/2009
I bought 2 set of these boxes and it was a waste of money. As several of the reviews have stated several items do not stay longer. One thing I found interesting is that like one of the other reviews, you have to put a papertowel in the boxes in order for the food to stay longer. I wen on vacation and my husband did not know that he had to switch the papertowels and I had to pitch a lot of veggies when I got back. A lot of work for a product that cost so much. I saw other green boxes on tv for half the price and 20 pc. set. I don't have time to babysit containers. I was so disappointed.

Disapointed / luis1, NY   9/5/2009
I was happy to recived the Debbie Meyer Green Boxes. When i put some hash brown in the ice box. when i went to take it out of the ice box it fell and the lid broke. And the foods don't stay fresh like they said on TV. I am very disapointed with them.

fragile / 1maureen, MO   9/5/2009
I noticed only a slight difference on the life of my vegetables. The box broke the first time I washed it on the top shelf of my dishwasher. I wont buy these again.

Iwant my green back for the green box / Texas177, TX   9/5/2009
I ordered these because my husband saw them on tv and mentioned that it would probably be something to try as we juice alot and always have lots of produce to preserve. I am not sure why the boxes seemed to do the opposite of what they claimed. Things were actually more diminished than when kept in a regular grocery store plastic bag.I am sending back. Maybe Joy M. could perfect them.

These really work! / CathyO, PA   8/31/2009
These boxes really work. This is my second set. I store anything and everything in them. You must put your food in them as soon as you get it home for them to maximize freshness length. I kept grapes for over 3 weeks, fresh bread for over 2 weeks, lunch meat and cheeses, 2-3 weeks, lettuce over 3 weeks, fresh veggies for at least 2 weeks because I eat them so fast and they stay crisp! There's so much more that I keep in them too.

FLORIDA FAN / beatrix336, FL   8/29/2009
I have kept lettuce for a month and brocolli as well, grean beans, carrots, celery, etc. Some things don't keep as well. TiP: You must wipe out the moisture with a paper towel about every five days and they work very well. They don't do as well with tomatoes, cucs, etc. but are worth the money for the vegetables alone and some fruits. I don't understand all the complaints on the boxes. I have never tried the bags. I liked them so well I ordered another set. Don't let the bad reviews put you off, I really feel these save a lot of money, I was throwing veggies out every week before I got these.

Dont Perform As Advertised / missy142, NY   8/29/2009
These boxes DO NOT perform as advertised. There is nothing you can put in them (fruit, vegetable or anything else) that will stay fresh for the amount of time she says it will. In fact some things ROT faster with the boxes and bags. They do work A LITTLE with certain things that normally dont rot fast anyway. Not worth the money. REALLY DISAPPOINTED.

How Did These Boxes Pass Quality Control? / , MA   8/24/2009
I have been an HSN cutomers for years. This is the very first time I have ever returned anything because the product did not perform as advertised. I really am quite surprised. Bottom line: my produce rotted quicker; my cheese grew mold; my crackers went soggy! How did these boxes pass quality control?
