glass broke while washing it in my hand / , AZ   9/9/2008
Oh, I am so disappointed!!! Now I see others had the same problem with the glassware. HSN what do we do when our 30 days have expired and there is definitely a problem with the product? I already threw that glass away knowing my 30 days were up. I cannot afford to buy anything else from HSN and pay that much money for a cheap product that breaks.

When I received this set, one of the glasses was already broken. I now have none since they all cracked half into after one use. We should ALL be refunded for this set. I can't even return them because they all broke. I am very disappointed in HSN for allowing this to still be available for sale. This has to be the poorest quality of glassware ever made.

Gave as a gift and embarrassed to find out how flimsy the glasses are (were). Friend was afraid to use pitcher after that. Found out too long after ordering to return. What can be done in these instances? Wish there would have been reviews to read before I ordered!! Gave 1 star for great concept.

Makes a beautiful presentation / , MI   8/2/2008
Entertained with the 2 sets I purchased and my guests enjoyed the "no sweating" feature and beautiful presentation. Did not experience the thin wall problem mentioned by other reviewers. Suggestions for improvement -- enlarge the lip on the pitcher to better handle beverages with fruit, add a handled lid for the pitcher, and reduce the diameter of the glasses a bit so they are easier for adults with small hands to hold.

Overall, looks cheap/bad quality (not worth $50 TDS--can't see how they could possibly be valued at $100). The glasses taper at the bottom (why??) so it makes them top heavy. Also, the glass is so thin & lightweight that they are prone to being knocked over. Put one of the glasses in the freezer to frost and it cracked. The only thing I like is that I can use for hot drinks like coffee/tea. I would have returned if not for the hassle. Misrepresented by HSN/Colin Cowie.

This set is complete and utter JUNK. I CAN NOT believe quality control didn't know. I expect an apology from HSN and Colin Cowie if for no other reason than the sheer aggravation of my having to package and return the remaining pieces of this very fragile, very poorly designed glassware. I own several pieces of another brand that advertises durability and quality and lives up to that claim. This set was expensive at the sale price and is not a good value at ANY price.

I am happy to keep the glasses and pitcher but I am disappointed with how lightweight it is. Colin said that he wouldn't put his name behind it if it wasn't good quality so I expected something a little more heavy duty. It has made me hesitant to purchase something based on his recommendation. The host stated numerous times that the pitcher wasn't dishwasher safe and probably wouldn't fit anyway but Colin stated that he puts his in the dishwasher and I have too and it's just fine.

This product is of very poor quality - it is the worst product that I have purchased from HSN. The packaging is ridiculous and one of the glasses is not flat on the bottom. What has happened to quality control at HSN???? Anybody that purchased this item should be given a full refund without having to pay to return the items!

This item does look lovely and does come well package, but with the first use the pitcher had a crack in it and the glass shattered in the kool aid. Thankfully my husband got it before the kids. The glass is micro thin inside. When I packed it for the return the kool aid liquid could not pour out so I had to remoce it with a cloth so the return box would not get soaked and as per HSN request I removed the glass by hand by removing it by hand and then proceeded to cut my hand.
