We have a light color carpet that is really not all that dirty. However, you do notice the 2 high traffic areas. This thing didn't even touch them. Waste of money and my time!!! Going back to HSN!!!!

Putting this together was terrible, 2 of the screws are so deeply set in, it is very difficult to get them screwed tightly. The machine cleaned nothing nor did the cleaning products. All around I give it a Zero.

I literally just tried to use this and it shut off on it's own after making about 5 passes on the carpet. Now I can't get it to restart. I am extremely disappointed! I thought with a name like Bissell that it would be good. Unfortunately for me I am well beyond the 30 day return policy, and now I am out $127 bucks!! I am very unhappy.

No noticeable difference in carpet cleanliness / , AL   5/26/2009
I was looking forward to using this machine. Unfortunately it did not live up to my expectations. When trying to fill to the fill line the container teters, wobbles and spills.While in use it drips, it spits and squirts. Leaving drippings and puddles. If I wanted a puppy I would have bought one. This must have been designed by folks who lived in a country without carpet.

I was halfway cleaning the stairs and it just stopped working. HSN, please do your customers a favor and stop selling this product. Sorry to say, but this product is a piece of junk!

We finally put this together, and just now tried it. NOTHING!!!! Maybe the reason this is used at airports is because all of those carpets are berber or flat carpets. The part of the presentation that I saw didn't mention that it was just a "paint" roller. Later in the day, when I realized that fact, I tried to cancel the order but they said I couldn't. Anyway, it's going back tomorrow!!!!

This is not a Carpet Cleaner / , AL   5/25/2009
This cleaner does NOT clean a thing, this was terrible! The demonstation video I have no explaination for but it does not clean like that. We went over the same area for 45 minutes, the carpet was barely damp and there was NOT a thing cleaned. The little attachment worked better then the cleaner, but that's up to you if you want to use the attachment for the entire cleaning. TERRIBLE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

I FOUND THE SAME PROBLEM AS EVERYONE ELSE. MINE STOPPED IN THE FIRST FIVE MINTUES OF USE. I RECOMMEND THAT YOU PURCHASE THE PRO HEAT SERIES IT IS WORTH THE EXTRA $. I HAD THE PRO HEAT FOR A LONG TIME IT WORKS GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!! BUYERS BEWARE I THINK BISSEL NEEDS TO RETHINK THIS LITTLE CLEANING MACHINE.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED    5/22/2009
I had very high hopes when I ordered this machine and was actually looking forward to cleaning my carpets. THIS THING STOPPED WORKING THE FIRST TIME I USED IT!!!! AND I HAD ONLY BEEN USING IT FOR 30 MINUTES. IT JUST STOPPED!! DO NOT BUY. I AM RETURNING MINE TODAY.

I was very disappointed in the Bissell PROdry. I used the machine for about 5 minutes and then the spray stopped working. Looking in the owners manual and on the Bissell website it seems that this must be a common problem. It will be going back!
