A Waste of Money

I was looking forward to receiving this carpet cleaner. I didn't expect professional results but this machine did next to nothing to clean my carpet. I've had better results with a retail product and paper towels. It is heavy, the seal on the cleaner tank leaked and, after following the instructions to the letter and even pre-treating some heavily soiled areas, there was little to no difference in the carpet. I am very disappointed in the misrepresentation of the results in the on-air demo.

Purchased this machine months ago. Had to send for a part soon after purchase. Wrong part sent. Bissell had us take the machine to a vaccuum shop last month, still isn't working right. Don't waste your moiney, energy and time with this product.

Bought the Bissell PROdry thinking it would be so much easier on me. I couldn't get around to doing my floor until after the 30days went by. You could not tell that I ever used the Carpet Cleaner. It made no difference. What a waste of money. Still have the original box but too late to send back.

I bought this product for a xmas gift for a family member and after using it 2 times it no longer works. What a disapointment.

IT CLEANS LIKE NO OTHER I HAD A CARPET CLEANER I HAD BROUGHT FROM WAL-MART AND IT DID NOT CLEAN LIKE THIS ONE DO. I REALLY LIKE THIS CLEANER.

When we used this, it leaked all over the house, large amounts, so we called Bissel and spoke to someone who could barely speak english. They determined it had a bad valve and sent another one. It still continued to leak just as bad, so we called them again just to be told we had to pay a certified repair person to fix it. No replacement was offered, in fact they were unwilling to do anything to help us. I will never but Bissel again.

IT WORKS GREAT. EVEN MY HUSBAND USES IT AND IT BROUGHT OUR CARPET BACK TO LIFE. CAN NOT WAIT TO USE AT MY MOM'S. ANOTHER GIFT FROM MY HUBBY TO ME. WE LOVE IT AND PEOPLE THOUGHT WE GOT A PRO TO COME IN AND SOME THOUGHT WE GOT NEW CARPET.

I like the ease of setup and use but wish the cleaning solutions were stronger/better smelling. Some spots didn't come up with this but did with a little diluted peroxide n water. Am definitly going to look for a deep cleaning steamer.

I purchased this item and have only used it twice. By the second time, it had broken. I am unable to use the tool option at this point. Also, when I initially used the carpet cleaner, it really did not make any significant difference in the appearance of my carpets. Would have been better off buying a heavy duty unit. |
