Why Bother! / , TX   5/13/2008
I bought a gift card for my mom for mother's day and was sent an email saying it would come in the mail. I called and was told it was being sent via email to her. It showed up at my house today by snail mail and of all things it said, "Happy Anniversary"!! So now I have to hand deliver a late mother's day, (anniversary),card!! Why Bother!!

This was a nice January gift for my wife. She got e-mail notification earlier than I thought she would. The card arrived soon after with my personalized message, but the first two words were wrong. I liked getting free shipping for this. We believe the card design can be better, though.

Received without any trouble / , TX   12/18/2007
I hesitated to purchase the holiday gift card for my mother-in-law after reading several of the reviews. I decided to take the chance afterall. I orderd the gift card on December 10th and received the card on December 17th, which was before their estimate of 7-10 business days. I am very please with the service and I know my MIL will be very happy to shop with her gift card.

I bought my mum the 100.00 card for Cristmas.I ordered it two weeks to the day before Cristmas Tuesday morning ,and it came the following Monday.I was hoping to get it by Cristmas,but more than a week before?!?! That made my Holliday that much easier!!! Thanks for the EXCELLENT service HSN!!

Email Option Didn''t Work / , CA   8/7/2007
I tried to send a gift card via email for my Aunt's birthday. I tried twice and both times the order showed the card being shipped to my house. I called HSN and the customer service rep assured me that even though the order said it was being shipped to me it still would be sent via email. Then it showed up in the mail today. Annoying! So now I'm putting it in the mail myself a week after it was supposed to be in my Aunt's email inbox.

This is a great gift for HSN fans, but allow at least a week to receive it. I ordered it Tuesday for Mother's Day, but it was not received until Monday, a day late. Also, the card was blank, not personalized as requested.

HSN was suppose to email the Gift Card recipient an email and so far they haven't like promised. Either change your listing or do what you are suppose to!

Notificaton process is pathetic / , VA   4/4/2007
No email sent to recipient as stated and 'shipped' email doesn't contain certificate number so you have to wait on card for number unless you call CS. First call, the guy said, due to security concerns, he couldn't give me the number. After girlfriend reamed me for not being forceful, the second call to CS resulted in another guy stating, 'oh, no problem, I'll even give you the number to your second certificate even though it hasn't been 'shipped''. The other 'poor' reviews are correct !!!!

I ordered this gift certificate on Dec 22nd for my wife as a Christmas present..i was told it was guaranteed to arrive by christmas day but she didn't get it until January 5th. It also did not have my message or her name on it as i specified.

Gift certificate disappointment / , CT   12/31/2006
My sister gave me a gift certificate for Christmas, however, the email notification never arrived and the actual hard copy arrived 4 days after Christmas. When she called to complain that the guarantee was not honored, she was given the certicate number over the phone.... It is not the same. I would not recommend gifting a person this way. What is a good is a guarantee if it is not being honored!
