Pork Chili Verde
Pro/Fats and Veggies - Level One
Serves 4-6

This is fast, easy and delicious. All you need is pork, chicken stock and Somersize Chili Verde Simmer Sauce in your Fast and Easy Cooker and you'll have an incredible meal in minutes. I have added extra onions, garlic and cilantro, but if you don't have the time, it tastes great either way!

Ingredients
2 pounds pork (shoulder or butt), diced into 1 inch cubes
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, diced (optional)
2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
Salt and pepper, or ½ teaspoon Somersize Southwest Sea Salt Rub
1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro leaves, (optional)
1 cup chicken stock
½ jar Somersize Chili Verde Simmer Sauce
Sour cream, for garnish

Directions
  1. Place the 8 quart pot of the Fast and Easy Cooker over medium heat. Add the oil and pork cubes and sauté until browned. Add onions, garlic, and seasoning. Cook until onions are translucent, but not browned. Add cilantro and chicken stock.

  2. Secure the pressure lid onto the pot and lock into place. Place cooker onto high heat, until pressure builds. Once the pressure valve is elevated, set timer to 7 minutes.

  3. Remove from heat and slide to a cool burner. Carefully release pressure and unlock lid. Place uncovered pot over medium heat and add the Somersize Chili Verde Simmer Sauce until heated through.

  4. Serve warm, with a dollop of sour cream.
