I bought this sign for my daughter to put on a bridge my husband made for her to lead to her playhouse. I did not realize that the portion that has the letters on it is a sticker! I had to put plastic and tape around it to protect it from rain and such. I don't think I would have ordered it if I had known that. But it is realy cute anyway. I also agree that it is way over packaged for the size of it!

What can you give to someone who has everything? You can give them their own street sign and I did that for this past Xmas. The sign was great but the shipping was not. When it arrived at my house it was in a big, lightweight box surrounded by foam peanuts and nothing else. For the s/h price of $7.95 I was expecting a little more and it ticked me off when I saw that. HSN has over priced this. There was no need for it to come in a big box. It could have handled regular Post Office shipping.

My oldest daughter is a real "street sign" fanatic. I bought this for her with her name and the "BLVD" as the indicator. I know many teens that would love a street sign with their name and this is a high quality original gift idea.

There are restrictions on what can be put on your sign, and the best part is, they don't let you know until a week later when HSN cancels your order and it's too late to re-order in time for Christmas.
