Pearls!
Pearls! All shapes and sizes just like us!
On Saturday, November 7th our Today's Special is going to be wild and wonderful. Pearls, pearls and more pearls with a perfect way to keep some and share some as a gift. It is one of my all time favorite Today's Special. I will be on HSN on that Saturday morning at 9 am with Pearl Gallery which means the Today's Special and gorgeous pearls with all gold clasps and details. This is what dreams are made of in the world of pearls. Then at 10 am Turia is back from Tahiti for a spectacular show with genuine Tahitian pearls. She is glorious and you are going to love her designs. She is a native of Tahiti. I wanted you to read what she says about Tahitian Pearls - it is inspiring.
 Turia Spector
"When you adopt a pearl you are adopting a little piece of the ocean... Incredible but the mother pearl gives birth to a pearl just the way we give birth to a baby... And each pearl is magical, unique and beautiful...I would like for each woman in this world to have a pearl of her own since each woman is a pearl.... " - Turia
She has such a connection with the islands, the sea and these exquisite oceanic, organic gems. I want you to see the Cleopatra style necklace she has put together for you. I am buying one for sure. The necklace is made out of the Mother of Pearl from the Oysters where the Tahitian Pearls grow. You'll be able to see the family resemblance. There are more gems in store for November of course, but you cannot miss November 7th!
The Empress Eugenie, wife of Napoleon III, was the person responsible for bringing the black pearl into fashion. The auction of her necklace of black pearls is still talked about today for the money it brought in during a heated bidding war.
The colors to choose from range from green and gold to cranberry and black. We will have blush pink, and the perfect whites too. When you see our Pearl Gallery, it is going to be like walking into a real art gallery and each exhibit is more breathtaking than the last. There is also going to be Pearl Couture on Saturday. That is where you are going to find the over the top limited-quantity, mouth-watering, jaw-dropping pearls. The Pearl Culture show is all about gifts and building those perfect pearl wardrobes.
The very first fancy jewelry my parents ever gave me was a strand of apricot baroque pearls. As you can imagine, I treasure them to this day. The emotional connection to a strand of pearls can be compared to engagement rings and anniversary bands. If you don't have the perfect strand, wait no longer for this wonderful rush. As my mom used to say, "Life is short, wear your jewelry." She definitely wore hers and the first time she said that line to me it to me it was about my the beautiful strand my parents blesssed me with as a birthday present. She and Dad had selected it for me with love and hope in their hearts. They wanted me to have an heirloom early in life to enjoy. To me, that gift and the thought behind it really epitomizes the highest way to give a gift of jewelry. This holiday season, please wear your jewelry and include yourself on your gift list with love and hope in your heart.
See you Saturday morning!

Sherrri, MD Here is your answer about the pillow on the set! We had them made for the set. It is literally a felt snowflake cut out and top stitched on to a red pillow velvet pillow cover. Sounds like it is a fairly simple project. You could even use the Liqui-sew we sell and not even have to sew if you can find a red solid pillow.
Kathleen, OH I am so glad you like my Host Pick rolling tote. The matching lunch bags sold like crazy. I am already working on June’s Host Pick and you can expect to see more choices then. The Buyer is investigating whether we can get more in the metallic color to match. I will keep you posted.
Michelle, CA Storybook knits is back on Monday, November 9th at 6a m, 11 am and 5 pm EST.
