I never had a rice cooker before, so I was hesitant but eager. Since I can't compare this to others, let me just say I was very pleasantly surprised with how easy this thing works. Although I never had to rinse and soak rice before, the rice came out so well that I was impressed. It does a fine job. and it's easy to clean. I recommend this cooker.
