Celebrations of the New Year
Dear Friends, Happy New Year! We hope you're having a wonderful new year and are enjoying the quiet of 2008 after a busy holiday season. I remember when I was a little girl in China I loved the New Year, simply because I knew on New Year's Day I would have a new outfit my mother had made for me for that year. On New Year's Day, I would put on my new outfit and go running around the neighborhood to show off. I felt really pretty and fresh.
Today my children and I no longer have only one new outfit a year anymore. However, making something special for New Year's is still something I continue do for my family to keep the pretty and fresh spirit alive.
I think we're all going to have a very good 2008. And in just a few weeks, we'll be able to celebrate the Chinese New Year together. So please join me January 28th and 29th as we welcome the Year of the Mouse and I introduce some new and very special new weis to help you look pretty and feel fresh all year long. It will be a great wei for us all to start the year right and finish it bright.
Our warmest wishes for you and your loved ones.
Wei
PS - I'll post more details about our Chinese New Year celebrations as we get closer to the end of the month. In the meantime, please share your questions, comments and suggestions for new ways to look and feel beautfiul this year. I can't wait to hear more from you. All the best!
