Note: Liquid borohydride fuel is an odorless white chemical traditionally used in the pharmaceutical industry which dissolves and reacts with water. It is a stable substance (a form of borate and the element boron). In the fuel cell application, after the energy is depleted the remaining substance is basically water (alkaline water).
