I sent this back as there were no recipes in it that were interesting to me. I am allergic to fish and I don't eat most of the foods that were in this cookbook. You need to make cookbooks with better recipes in it.

I was disappointed when I received this book. The people that are buying this book and others by the same author are "real people" - not restaurant/gourmet chefs. I thought this would be more real and everyday types of food. I know that in the complete book there are probably only 3 recipes I will make. : Seems like an awful lot of money to pay for 3 recipes. I will keep the book because it does give me a good guideline on times, etc for the Versacooker.

was fair looked to cook some thing and could not find the recipe in the book disappointing... have all three by the 2 ladies one each and one together some good ideas just have not got around to trying them yet...

Good mix of recipes... ABigGirl, CA Rating

This is not your standard "slow cooker" cookbook. I like the variety of recipes -- from casual meals to more adventuresome ideas. If you are looking for a cookbook for only every day, family meals, this is not for you. I wanted something different, and this is a good choice.

Buy this cookbook and try the Chicken and Homemade Noodles. Page 71. This is so good, only recipie i made so far, but it is worth the price , even if you only make this. But i used store bought noodles, to save time. Eat it over mashed pototoes, then it's the best, just like it says in the book.
