I''ve always been a "meat and potatoes" cook. Nothing wrong with that, but Oh how fun it is to try something new and delicious! Recipes are yummy, easy to follow, beautiful pictures and serving ideas. I made a french omlette this morning, and my son said "Mom, you really know how to cook!" Yes sir- I can shake an omlette just like Wolfgang!! We''re broadening our horizons in the kitchen!
This cookbook is special. Made cream of asparaqus soup on pg. 62 from the pea soup receipt. Loved it love it and took some to my beautician and she said I want that receipt, so I bought her the cookbook for christmas. Gotta keep our hair dressers happy to keep away bad hair days. I know she is going to be so pleased. Thanks again wolfie you are great.
I LOVE dinning in Wolfgang''s restaurants and his cookbook has the same appeal. That''s NOT to say you have to be a prof. chef to make the recipes! I only recently became a decent cook (was much better at ordering something up at WG''s restaurants!)BUT I can manage these receipes just fine! Great variety of meals and charming little narratives w/some of the receipes. Loades of pictures help with choosing and preparing receipes too! I wish I''de bought mine when he was autographing them!
