I love my new lite weight cast iron. This is the answer to the everyday cook's prayer. Cast iron is just too heavy to handle, but I've missed the features of cast iron for stove top, oven and take with convenience. This pan is the economical way to satisfy the need for an expensive dutch oven..and it serves it's purpose very well.

I had an old dutch oven that was heavy and the porcelain was cracking off. So I decided to try this pan. It is never put away -- always sits on top of the stove because I use it almost every day. It is my go to pan. Very versatile. Clean up is a breeze, no matter what was cooked in it.

I purchased these because I needed a light weight cast iron pan. This is not only light, but very stylish too. I use it for many different dishes. I want and need to purchase more sizes/shapes. Love all thing WGP.!!

I got this about a week ago and used it for a sporting event dinner for my children today. It is beautiful. I made macaroni salad cooking 1 box of macaroni and that did not fill the pot to capacity. PROS: It heats up nicely. Though it is thinner that standard cast iron cookware, it is not flimsy It is Gorgeous! The carry bag is beautiful and convenient. CONS: The travel top is a little hard to get on and off The two sets of zippers can be a little confusing, one set may be left open.

I use cast iron all the time but it's usually the heavy kind. When I received this I couldn't believe the difference in weight. It's heats up so nice and even, and clean-up is a breeze. The storing lid fits nice and tight so I never worry about spills in my Insulated Tote. The extra zip top on the Tote is nice so I can put my pan lid in it for travel, for re-heating if necessary.
