I ordered these as a birthday gift for myself and was really disappointed. The frosting was way too sweet and heavy and the sugar crystals just put it over the top. My three year old didn't even want them. They are going back!

I don't know what the people were eating that gave bad reviews on these , but it sure was not these cupcakes. All I can say is they are JUST PLAIN YUMMY ! I bought these for my husbands birthday ,because he LOVES strawberry anything. I had read the reviews but decided to give them a chance anyway because they looked so good in the picture. Boy am I glad I did ! We just LOVE them ! the frosting is smooth and creamy with yummy little sugar crystals all over it. and the cake is so moist it melts in your mouth. They are NOT too sweet as other people have said . We let ours thaw out over night before eating them. and they were perfect . Don't go by the bad reviews , order them and make your own judgment. Im so glad we did ! If you dont like them you can send them back to QVC. BUT I BET YOU WONT !

GOOD BUT SWEET AND SUGARY... Brennie479, AZ Rating

I was craving gourmet strawberry and pink champagne cupcakes and no bakery in town had this flavor so when I saw these at HSN I was happy! Other websites wanted alot more for shipping. Locally one gourmet cupcake costs $3.50 so these cupcakes cost less than that. These cupcakes are good, but are sweet and sugary. The frosting is a pretty pink and has little sugar crystals on it. The frosting's piled high with a cute curly que on top and it's a thick (not whipped) frosting. The actually cake part tastes like regular strawberry cake. The cupcakes arrived in 2 days and the dry ice was gone but they were still frozen. They were packaged extremely well in the container with plastic, bubblepack, thermo cooler bag, and styrofoam. They arrived perfectly fine and none of them were damaged in shipping. I'm glad I ordered these cupcakes but the next time I'll try another flavor. I recommend these cupcakes if you like sweet and sugary ones.

I hate to say negative stuff, but I was very disappointed in these cupcakes. One reason being was they were too sweet. I love desert, but this was so sweet, nobody wanted to have a second one and they are still sitting in my freezer. Also the shipping cost. Way too high for my experience. This is tough times, shipping needs to be reduced on these. Sorry, but I had to be truthful.

The taste and texture of the cupcake were delicious. The frosting was good. The sugar crystals were a bit too much for us, and actually detracted from the overall product. A delicate buttercream frosting would have complemented the champagne cake better than the heavy strawberry frosting. And please, no sugar crystals!
