these are the best pans. I do all the cooking an w/these you do not cook on high heat. the pans make the heat evenly go through them. that the heat is kept and put to the pans in a perfect way. Excellent.

When first receiving my green pan collection and using, me and my husband thought they were the best pans ever. Told everyone how great they were. BUT, about 2 months after using them, which is not much usagethe pans started to have food stick to them, with each use the pans become worse, even if I use cooking oil. I spent a good 10 minutes scrubbing a pan I cooked a egg on, and let soak all day. It was like trying to get glue off!!! Will never buy another Green pan!! Wasted my money!!!

Needed larger pans, and not the 3 Tapas Pans, those are useless. I love the greenpans and would buy again, but not in this particular set. Ihad to add to the set. Fry pan is to small, stock pan is to small. But they are holding up nicely as long as I don't use any metal in them, and I hand wash. Have to use a little scrubber to keep bottoms clean as they are the same as the rest of the outside of the pans. Non-stick 100%. Hope they come out with another set but larger pans.

I bought this set & sent them to my son & his wife for Christmas. They live in Germany. We had bought several of these pans for ourselves & LOVE them. When my son received them he said,"from the weight of the box I was hoping this is what you sent" We had been to see them in May 2011 & their non-stick pans looked awful. I spoke with him about a week after he received them & he was amazed by the ease of use & clean-up.

PFOA is a chemical that is used in the manufacturing of traditional PTFE-based nonstick cookware coatings and other products. It is not present in finished cookware products, and there are no health risks from PFOA in cookware. However, because PFOA has been found in the environment, companies have committed to the Environmental Protection Agency to work toward eliminating facility emissions and product content of PFOA by the year 2015. Thermolon™ is made without PFOA. It is made to be eco-friendly for our environment.
PTFE is a chemical found in traditional nonstick coatings. It can begin to degrade at temperatures over 500º, which is why the instructions on traditional nonstick pans generally advise to use them only on low and medium heat. You can use Thermolon™ on low and medium heat like traditional nonstick, but unlike traditional nonstick coated pans, GreenPan with Thermolon™ is also made to be used at high heat (above 500º) for something you would normally use stainless steel or cast iron cookware for. Now you can do it all with one pan!
