I didn't realize how heavy this pan was going to be. I can't lift it with one hand to take in and out of the oven. I can see why it only holds 6 rather than 8 biscuits, you would never be able to lift it. Because of the weight I have to send it back. I baked some corn muffins in it and it was nothing special. My cupcake pan works just as well.

This biscuit pan is excellent. I bought 2 and now Im going to order more.

We bought this pan especially for corn muffins and they come out perfect in this pan. The only reason I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 was becasue even though I spray it with Pam before using, it takes a little work to clean it after use.

it would have been nice if there had been eight biscuit slots. I was forced to buy two. Also, I cooked Emeril's buttermilk biscuits from the recipe card that came with the pan and was not happy with the way they tasted. I have my own biscuit recipes and I will use them. I made cornbread in it and it came out great! Not a bad purchase.

I haven't had a chance to use it yet. I just wanted to add it to my cast iron by Emeril collection. I have the 10" skillet, the roaster and now the biscuit pan. I'd like to get the 12" soon and I should be done. I do use stainless as my main cookware, but cast iron is really good for certain things. Emeril has proven to keep quality his first priority so when I saw this on special, I purchased one totally confident that it will serve my needs. Love you Emeril. Just giving it back to you baby.
