BROKE AFTER 5 WEEKS GOT NEW ONE FELL APART AFTER 4... saramia, CT Rating

I purchased the 60 dollar pot thinking get thebest for hubby. After only 6 weeks of 1 pot a day- the pot just stopped working! Oh so call the company and they say no problem - under warrantee, give us your charge card number and we will charge you SEVENTEEN DOLLARS FOR SHIPPING TO SEND YOU A NEW ONE...ok.. so we do that then an ADDITIONAL EIGHT DOLLARS to sent the broken pot back MIND YOU WE ARE NOW 23 DOLLARS IN THE HOLE FOR A 5 WEEK OLD POT!!! Now second week in Augjust , 4 months and a few days since the new pot arrived, IT FELL APART, THE TOP AND BOTTOM JUST FELL APART! 2 PIECES! SO SHOULD WE INVEST ANOTHER 23 DOLLARS TO GET A REPLACEMENT POT-- NO MY HUSBAND SAID- AND WENT TO TARGET AND GOT THE SAME SIZE POT FOR 39 DOLLARS -- HAMILTON BEACH!!! WE ARE SO FED UP AND UPSET !! DO NOT BUY THIS POT!!!

FAB FAB COFFEE--GREAT PRICE... LOLaurie, OR Rating

I paid $90.00 for this percolator and am buying another at such a GREAT price to have one in reserve. The way to keep the grounds from going into the coffee is to use a paper filter. I use a napkin cut in half and fold the ends over so that it forms a pocket (similar to the pods that are available) and the grounds stay in the "pocket". I know it sounds odd, but it works. This percolator is the fourth Cuisinart percolator that I have owned. I LOVE them and I LOVE the coffee that it makes, SO, SO, SO MUCH BETTER than a drip coffeemaker and much more DURABLE.

I needed a 12 cup percolator and this fit the bill. The only problem for me is I make strong coffee, and because I fill the basket so full I get grinds in it. Otherwise, works well.
