I love this pot. It is quality stainless steel. It heats contents quickly & contents stay hot. Beautiful piece. Its handles are "shorter"...much better on my 24" Town House/Condo kitchen gas stove than the comparable 5 qt. Emerilware stainless steel soup pot I got at the same time. Emeril's handles stick out too much for smaller stove. Bon Appetit handles are more compact yet sufficient for me lifting/moving pot. Very pleased with this...my first piece in the Bon Appetit stainless steel.
