The start of a beautiful friendship

This July, it will have been a year that I premiered my absolute line of jewelry on HSN. Thanks to your support, it has been a great success thus far.

I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to reflect on this one of a kind experience. I spent a decade in the exclusive world of high jewelry, where the Gems are rare and unique, and the excellence of craftsmanship only mastered by a few. I feel most privileged to have had access to that tradition.

Nonetheless, after all those years, I started thinking as to how I could take the trademarks and the integrity of Fine jewelry making, and transfer them into an affordable, yet striking collection of jewelry.

Then, in what appeared to be a full circle moment, I met a very enthusiastic and passionate team of people at HSN.

“Absolute” offers all of key elements that normally make diamonds so rare and expensive. “Absolute” stones have ideal proportions, striking colorless brilliance and flawless quality.

The stones being so perfect, I felt as though my biggest challenge would be to achieve, by fine jewelry standards, a comparable level of workmanship. I strongly believe that execution and attention to details is what makes a piece “believable”, or what will eventually give it away.

Lastly, having only sold jewelry in person, I think the most interesting challenge at HSN has been to find the right way to express myself to you, whom I never meet when I present my collection.

Your reviews are so valuable because they give you a voice, and help me getting to know you, what you like, don’t like, and expect from the jewelry you are buying.

I look forward with this blog to be able to share with you my side of the “jewelry” story.
