The plunger top piece came off while the unit was being washed BEFORE it's initial use! I could not put the top back on by hand because the spring was too strong to allow it. In any case, I certainly did not want to keep an item that broke before I even got to try it. Thankfully, HSN did pay for the return postage.

I have a small home so had to return this, No where to store safely when not in use. Very nice and elegant. Wish I had this for my daughter's wedding.
