I've been looking for a supplemental method of keeping my abs toned and this belt works. You have to use the higher range of intensity, which makes sense. The manufacturer recommends 6 to 8 weeks to see a difference but I just needed something when I can't get to the gym or I'm too busy. That's where this product excels. After just 2 weeks I can see the difference. Of course you feel it right away. Stick with it, you'll be happy with the results. Also, it's made well and I like the fact that I can take it anywhere with me and stay toned.

The controller is broken. I am returning it. It now takes longer than a week to receive the return label from the vendor. So I don't know how long does it take to get my refund.

Purchased 3 weeks ago I am already seeing improvement to my side muscles. I find that centering just below the belly button gives me the best workout- the first week I had it centered at the navel and did not find as much workout directly centered. I am quite thin so I am using this to build up my abs as at 51 they go pretty much to jelly. It is very relaxing using this, like a great massage. Had my husband try it, he loved it so I bought him his own.

Feels like a massage until you get to high levels.... justhadtwokids, WA Rating 12/8/2009
I liked the feeling! Was relasing and felt like a massage for the first 40 of 99 levels. Could feel a slight workout in my side abs afterward. I want the "sore" feeling though so I'm working to higher levels. I'm losing weight because of my diet. This product will not burn calories as you are not burning energy, but reacting to it. Regardless, I bought it to stregthen my core, which it is doing beautifully. Gel pads feel cold when you put them on at first.
