Very impressed with this shell, while I don't think it's meant to look like leather, it's very nice, color is kind of graduated yellow to gold, and the design is embossed, not printed on the material. This all makes it very interesting and adds more depth then you'd expect from a patent-type material. Nice large pocket in the front in addition to the pocket on each side. A winner!
