Not worth the money5/20/2008 I ordered 4 sets of these. The water doesn''t last very long maybe 2-3 days. The ones with the posts with larger holes last maybe a day. I wish I knew how these were going to work because I would have sent them back. Don''t waste your money on these!
only waters half of plant5/16/2008 Received these and tried them the same day. Making the whole was a problem because my containers are not deep enough to keep the balls up. It only keeps half the soli moist, and the pots are only 10" They are going back today. Definitely not worth the money or the bother.
POOR DESIGN / PATTIE, DE5/9/2008 I HAVE ANOTHER 2 SETS OF THESE FROM A DIFFERENT MAKER , THEY HAVE WIDE TUBES SO ITS EASY TO FILL THEM UP. THE ONES I JUST GOT FROM HSN ARE HORRIBLE , THE STEMS ARE SO NARROW ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET THEM FULL OF WATER .I WILL BE SENDING MINE BACK , GUESS YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR ..
dead plants / Cheryl4/8/2008 I received thee and finally figured out the trick of getting water in and air bubbles out. This took the better part of an hour plus. One was fairly easy to get into the dirt the the others not so easy. Then then problem: in a small pot there is not enough water dripping out to keep a dandalion moist. By the time enough water is dispursed the plant/plants die. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. If I could figure out how to return without the postage costing more than the items I would send back.
Answer / ti, GA3/24/2008 You are suppose to make a whole the width of the end first the put in the soil. This will solve the problem of it stopping up with dirt. At least that is what the show host said. I''ve ordered 2 sets but have not received them yet.
