This heater seems to work best when it is not oscillating and facing directly on you or at you.

Get kitty cat warm... aebleskivers, OH Rating

I was pleased with the soft heat that is felt with this heater. It feels just like warm gentle sun rays streaming through a window- the kind cats so enjoy. Also the fact that it uses mimimal energy compared with most space heaters. The only downside is that it is bright like a light on you so at night if you aim it at you might want to keep that in mind. The remote feature is nice so if you do want to turn it off or on you don't need to get up. All in all I'm happy I got two.
