Hate to Iron-Love this Singer Steam Iron... Joan3024, FL Rating 5/11/2012
I've had another way more expensive ironing "device" for years. It finally died and after much research on line found this. It does absolutely everything the other was supposed to do but never did: steams beautifully down or up, turns on an off yes that was a factor easily and of course irons very well. What more is there when you have to look neat?

This iron is great,easy to use, however, it began to leak and the sole plate stains easily with the use of a name brand "Starch". Stains did not wipe off and is now embedded. Iron is less than a month old.Purchased this iron to replace an expensive Steam onlyone that does not leave iron prints

I really have not had a chance to use my new iron been very busy. I have used it twice I believe and have had no issues with it. I am a quilter and was looking for a new iron to use so I could take my old iron and use it for fusing in my quilt projects.
