We took this out of the box, I put it together, and was very easy. My wife started to vacuum and we could not believe our eyes. The vacuum took the pet hair up without any effort. The vacuum is heavy, but let me tell you something, that makes no difference, because the self-propelled made it so easy. The first one we triedthe Dirt Devilcould not hold a candle to this vacuum. Buy it you will be so pleased

This is a big boy of a vacuum but it is self propelled . That makes it much easier to move around. It has everything I wanted in a vacuum - you got all the dirt indicator, bagless, and a hose so you can do the furniture.
