Bought this based on other reviews, it is great for pet hair!!! takes a minute to get used to the canister if you use an upright.

This vacuum is incredible. All attachments work well. Easy to clean and maintain. Purchased the groom attachment for my dogs, and it is equally fantastic! My only complaints would be:
1 Power cord could be a foot or two longer
2 Canister could move behind you a little easier
Other than that, I have to say this is my favorite vacuum cleaner yet. I've had a couple kenmore's both good units that lasted many years...and a hoover dyson-like canister. This unit surpasses the hoover 300%.

The purchase of this vacuum was a long time coming - I debated for years spending this kind of money for a vacuum. I purchased it through HSN because of the flex pay option and their return policy. After using the vacuum the first day I was amazed and somewhat embarrased at the amount of dirt and dog hair it pulled out of the carpets. Also, the suction and brush are such that it pulls the carpet strands up so that it looks fresh and new again. I love this vacuum!
