Get Bikini-Ready with Summer-Smooth Skin

Here are three simple tricks you can try at home that will help give you a more youthful appearance. And they may not be what you think ...

Tip 1: Slather on a broad-spectrum sunblock with SPF 30 or higher a half hour before leaving the house–this allows it time to set. Just don't be skimpy, as the average woman needs an ounce (that's enough to fill a shot glass) to properly protect her body.

Tip 2: Smooth the appearance of your skin on the legs or backs of the arms by applying a daily moisturizer that contains the key ingredients urea, glycolic acid, or lactic acid. It was formulated to exfoliate the area while minimizing the potential of irritation.

Tip 3: To avoid razor burn, shave your legs at the end of your shower, when the hair is softer and easier to cut.

I use any kind of hair conditioner (instead of costly shaving creams) to shave my legs. It works great, no nicks & perfect for the bikini area!! Got this tip from Smart Woman mag.
