Gaming's not just for gamers.
I mean really…. did you ever think Grandma would be inviting her Bridge Club over to have a bowling tourney *virtually* from her own home??
People of all ages, and many who have never even played a video game before are peppering their lives with new kinds of excitement. With that I'd like to offer my best suggestion for maximum anyone/anytime enjoyment- the Nintendo Wii and or the portable Nintendo DS.
Don't get me wrong. The Wii and DS have been out for a while - but the game play is revolutionary and new games to the market just keep getting better. Educational games, Mario classics, fitness challenges, Guitar Hero… you name it…there is something to please everyone. And, since every Wii console automatically comes with Wii sports, (including tennis, bowling, boxing and golf) you have enough right out of the box to get started no matter what configuration you choose.
The DS rocks because there are so many fun titles and the DSi (newest version of the DS) has a super cool camera built in with tons of filter effects. I like titles such as "Brain Age" for small snacks of entertainment on the go for all ages.
Plus, if you haven't already, now is the perfect time to start your holiday shopping! These make great gifts and you can shop by interest for those on your list. From the sports fans to the wannabe rock star, there is something for everyone.
Hip. Cool. Fun. Interactive. Why not give it a try!
