I tried this on a customers hardwood florrs and it left steam lines on it after it dryed, customer asked me not to use that thing again, on bathroom floors it is fine, but leaves to much water on the floor.

I WAS VERY EXICTED WHEN THE MACHINE ARRIVED, HOWEVER I T TOOK ALMOST 10 MINUTES BEFORE THERE WAS STEAM, THEN WHEN I TRIED IT ON MY WOOD FLOORS THE WHEELS WERE DRAGGING DIGGING INTO MY FLOORS, SO I STOPPED.WAITED 2 DAYS AND TRIED IT AGAIN WITH ANOTHER NEW PAD IT DID THE SAME THING. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS ITEM FOR WOOD FLOORS. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE ITEM AND RETURNED IT

o.k ladies and gentlemen.. I have the scoop on this "steam maid" if you don't like your hard wood flooring to get "wet" then I would not suggest this product for you. have one other popular steamer and it doesn't wet the floor enough- this steamer I would say is going to be great if you have all tile-granite-marble ect. takes alittle longer then 3 minutes to get the steam going but when it does it works great. no streaking and the color of the ewbank is very stylish! overall I'm very pleased with this product. moves around on the floor very smoothly oh and its great on slate!!!
